because you can't flunk and be forced to retake a year in middle school anymore and people don't know shit when they get to high school. In high school where you have to complete x,y,z to get a diploma some kids stand no chance because they didn't do jack in middle school because they were to cool or they're mommy's and daddy's little angel and it can't possibly be their little angels fault they are doing bad, it must be the teachers.

I had a friend in college who had like a 0.25 GPA his first semester. Come to think of it, I never did see him after that. I'm sure he's doing quite well for himself now though....

Personally, I was read the dictionary as a kid and such so I dont need much effort in school

I play GW 4-6 HRS everyday and still maintain a 3.8 GPA without studying a bit.

Its just that you are not taking IB, AP, or Honors classes. You are taking mainstream classes, and even if you get a 3.8 GPA in them you are not getting into college these days. If you want to succeed with a 3.8 GPA you will have to be taking all Advanced Placement classes, and either the author of this thread is an idiot trying to be funny and post fake grades or he should have to redo school from 2nd grade.
